So I decided to Buy a 144hz Monitor and record 60fps from there on I found out the only way I know to record a video in 60Fps on a 144hz Monitor is to lock it to 120Hz instead of 144hrz so that is what I did. so yeah I locked my monitor Hz from 144hz to 120hz so I can make 60fps videos. But When I use V-Sync in My games it just goes to 144 Fps instead of 120 fps Witch is my locked Hrz

Solution
Try running games in borderless window mode instead of fullscreen. That will run games at whatever the refresh rate of the desktop is.

I just used Nvidia control panel to lock it to 120Hz
is there anything i can do to Deal with this or is this just a thing I have to accept?

Can you give me more detail on the monitor and gpu you are using? If by any chance your monitor has adaptive sync that matches your gpu you might not need v-sync at all.

GTX 1060 6GB (1-Year-old) (Overclocked)
I7 - 6700K
Monitor: AOC AGON 27" LED Curved FreeSync AG272FC

I wouldn't go that far and say you will have to just deal with it, but unfortunately your monitor uses an adaptive sync technology exclusive to AMD cards, so you will have to use v-sync to avoid tearing. Have you tried setting the refresh rate via Windows?

Yep, I have tried that too. but there are still some games that keep ignoring my 120hz lock!

OK, Thanks For the help Glenwing and chris260999! <3
