Why EVGA only people?

Hi,

I'm looking to get a good graphics card and everyone I ask keeps saying to get EVGA. I want to know why people only recommend EVGA and not Asus or MSI? Is there something wrong with the other brands?

Which country you live in? And what people are you asking? If those are market vendors then ofcourse they will say this to sell their products and in case of friends and family it might be because they only have bought the EVGA product and had a great experience with it. Well from my personal experience it goes like this MSI, Asus, Gigabyte, Sapphire and then Evga. But sometimes other brands XFX provide some more specs compared to the MSI and Asus in this case i look for the reviews of the card like for problems people are facing and how well is the card performing under load and noise level things like that. By the way what card are you looking for?

Nope, other brands are also good. My guess is that it may be the cheapest version of the GPU you want to buy. There have actually been a few complaints about the new 970 and 980 EVGA GPU's not having such great quality control, but usually they make good products.

Because EVGA has GOD customer service. If something goes wrong, they WILL make sure everything goes well for you

But not with the 900 series. Coolers are misaligned, and they arn't that helpful apparently.

If i was able to wait to get my 780 it would have been the Asus or Evga, either one. Gigabyte (Windforce) just happened to be the first to arrive in Australia, and ended up getting it a few weeks later since nothing, no information regarding when Asus/Evga/Msi would arrive, so just did it. So far im happy with it.
