Hi guys

I was choosing some new Z chipset motherboards and then I started thought about 5 GT/s DMI2 vs 8GT/s DMI3 bus speed.
As I know all 8Gen processors have 8GT/s DMI3 bus speed.

so why H310 has 5 GT/s DMI2 bus speed while all supported processors have 8GT/s bus speed ?
and can that cause CPU bottleneck ?

Solution
The "H" series of motherboards are marketed for lower cost basic corporate desktops. The lower interface speed won't usually imact that market. They don't usually have NVMe storage or any other high performance device which would connect to the chipset. The PCIe lanes from the CPU and the RAM interface are independent from the DMI interface to the motherboard chipset.
