[SOLVED] Why have USB ports stopped working ?

I recently bought a used Asus Rog Strix Z-270F gaming motherboard. When i first installed it, it worked like a charm and i had no problems. A few days later i suddenly wasn't able to power my rgb mousepad through the usb ports on the motherboard, so i moved it to one of the USB ports on the case, whereupon it started working again. Then my webcam and microphone suddenly stopped working, and i was only able to use the with one usb port. Now my gaming mouse can't even be charged through the usb ports, even though it seems like its charging. I also can't use the lighting on my keyboard, but i am however still able to type and use it. I really have no clue whats going on, except it seems like the usb ports only send out a very small amount of power to my devices.

Multiple times yes.

Thats a strange one. Does your bios show you voltages? if so check them.
You may also be able to see the with something like HWinfo, open hardware monitor, etc.

Where do i see the USB voltages in hwInfo?
