Hi guys, so I have an antec p280 case (it has 3 case fans that come with the case) with an asus maximus vi gene mobo (it has 3 chasis fan headers and 1 cpu opt fan header). The case itself has a manual fan controller with a molex header. What I did was connect a cable with molex to 4 pin fan connector to the motherboard from the case to monitor the fans but fan xpert 2 and the bios will not recognize them at all. What can I do?
I can connect a molex cable from the case to the psu and then can manually adjust the fan speed on the back of the case, so the fans/fan controller aren't broken.
