[SOLVED] Why is AMD/ATI so far behind Nvidia?

Solution
You heard about the situation with TSMC, right?
They are backlogged with orders, and not just for AMD, which is already divided up between console, mobile, HEDT, OEM, and DIY.

I'm sure Nvidia isn't Samsung's only client, but they appear to be able to 'pump out' a few more chips for them than TSMC is able to for AMD.
They also aren't as spread out as AMD is either - for the most part, it's just gpus from them.

Solution
I'd say they were more or less equal to each other now due to both company design decision. People consider nvidia gpu are very hard to find before but they said it is even harder to get AMD gpu. Even the upcoming 6700 XT we already talks about there will be only a few thousand cards for the entire europe region.

Weak cpu?
I could've sworn that HUB video and the aforementioned NerdTechGasm video refer to cpu limited scenarios(which is easy to do at 1080p), not just weak cpus.

Now that AMD finally has competitive gpus in at the high end, we can more clearly see the pros and cons of Nvidia's software scheduler and AMD's hardware scheduler.

@Zubar
Was this a question about supply or performance?

I for one would never buy a first gen part(cough cough rx 20xx series)On pure performance AMD's not that off.They do lack in RTX and they are still busy with there version of dlss.I predict the 7xxx cards are gonna be competitive.They jumped with gpu's like they did from FX to Ryzen.That's a huge leap.I am not much into RTX so i won't mind getting a 6xxx model but they are really expensive here starting at 14k +. Cheapest we have are the 5700 which are 10k.That's a huge difference consider i got my 1070 ti for 3650(around 211 usd).

I see the first gen cards as Beta cards.AMD will most prob perfected rtx on the next gen cards but what still kick them are the fact they can't counter dlss at the moment.I am not sure if they will enable there version on a hardware level or software level(hopefully software so nvidia will be forced to enable it for pascal and maxwell cards 😀)All in all,it's gonna be an exciting year for hardware.
