[SOLVED] Why Is Chrome, installed on my boot SSD, spinning up my HDD when it launches?

Title says it all, I am absolutely certain Chrome is installed on my C:/ SSD, yet sometimes when I launch a fresh instance of it, it spins up my hard drive and takes like 10 seconds to pop up. What's going on?

its possible there are temp folders on hdd it uses

windirstat might reveal why - see if it finds any hidden folders on the hdd - https://windirstat.net/

It used to be, but I've since moved it to another ssd I recently bought.

maybe check in Chrome/settings/Advanced/Downloads and make sure its still not pointing at the drive.

I'm not sure how useful it'll be if it's only on startup, but Process Explorer can tell you what files an app is accessing. Might be worth running through to see if Chrome's still hitting the hard drive.
