Why is Liquid Temp is hotter than CPU

I just started water cooling and for some reason my liquid temp is hotter than my cpu temp. I get these thermals from the nzxt cam software. I have an i7 6700k stock clock and at 1.2 volts, i use a kraken x62 to cool it

uhh because the CPU is heating up the liquid, and then it's measured, and then the liquid is cooled, and then the cpu is cooled, and then the cpu temp is measured?
