Why is monitor flashing between hdmi and vga?

Hello

I bought a new samsung S19D300H. The monitor works fine, but when i turn it on before turning on my PC, it flashes between analog and hdmi, even though I only have an HDMI cable connected to it.

once i turn my pc on, the monitor stays in hdmi.


Is it normal?

It is normal. Simply looking for an input signal.

It was set in Auto. I put in Manual and it has stopped doing it. Thanks!!!
