Salutations to all of you. I am dealing with a unique kind of problem. My system is simple and primarily focused on gaming. The PC is crashing exclusively in idle mode, which is my problem. The following message appears on it:

If I need a GPU change, can anyone suggest a good GPU as in RTX 4060 Variants?

Thank you in advance. Have a nice day.

PC specifications are:
Ryzen 5 CPU
Hyper X Fury DDR4-3200 MHz RAM (16 GB)
SSD = M.2 Corsair MP 600 2 TB NV Me M.2 SSD
HDD 2 = 4 TB SSHD HYBRID DRIVE.
HDD 3 = 1 TB SUPPORT DRIVE
RX 580 GPU with 8 GB of GDDR5.
CM C 700M = PC CASE
Power Supply = CM = V2 1250 80 Plus Gold.
Logitech Z906 5.1-Channel, 500-Watt RMS Speaker
HP Desk Jet 6075 Printer
LG MP89HM-S 27-inch IPS Monitor.

As old as that card is, it could be on its way out. I would not recommend a 4060 variant. There are AMD cards that are better priced, and in some cases faster, at a similar price.

I appreciate your responses. I tried everything, taking the PC apart and putting it back together piece by piece. Even so, when the GPU is idle, it crashes. Hence, I set my mind to getting a good GPU.

I want to thank you again for your extensive knowledge of the subject; it is greatly appreciated.
Since I have a limited budget, the GPU going down unexpectedly was not anticipated.

I hope you have a good day.

it crashes only on idle? like, load works fine?
if so, then your issue is in driver, not in hardware.
did you upgrade it recently?
I would go back to last known good, or remove it and do clean reinstall.
windows sometimes install broken versions, and can force it on you.
try to follow this step by step:

Code:
    Open Settings on Windows 10.
    Click on System.
    Click on About.
Under the “Related settings” section, click the System protection option.
    Click the Hardware tab.
Click the “Device Installation Settings” button.
Select the “No (your device might not work as expected)” option.

remove your gpu from there,
and try to download the driver straight from AMD site instead.

Posting in case anyone else has the same issue as I have had this since day 1 with my RX 570. Newer drivers didn't help the problem. At stock the system can't handle small loads without crashing but will max out just fine.

The solution was to set a higher minimum clock speed in the driver settings. Mine is on 'State 2' at 950MHz minimum clock as it'll crash intermittently on the default idle speed.

Congrats on the new GPU, I hope you're happy with it :)
