As the title says, I have the Asus Rog Strix Z270e. It has a built in wifi card. That built in wifi card is stable, getting 100 percent signal strength based on the CMD command "netsh wlan show interface". I do not lose packets with this wifi card but it will kick me off the internet every 20 minutes exactly for some odd reason. I bought an Intel wifi card (AC8260) to plug into the motherboard since it is a PCIe adapter. Great ping but I constantly lose packets and the command on CMD shows that it is at 88 percent signal strength. (I have tried other wifi cards and they always show 88 percent)Do motherboards just work better with their built in wifi card? Or is there setting in bios for this thing to just "not bottleneck the PCIe wifi card"(I am saying it like this because I do not know if a motherboard could bottleneck one but it sure seems like it). I also did turn off the built in wifi in the bios.
