Question Why is my Brother HL-2240 printer making DARK copies?

I always refill with my own black toner cartridge and this is the first time this has happened. Anyone know what's going on here with the dark toner streaking and how can I fix it?

As it's dark mostly down one side, I would reseat the cartridge. It's worth a try. I reckon it would only have to be a miniscule amount out of line to cause that. Any more and it wouldn't print at all.
