I have a 3 year old Zotac GTX 1070, both of the fans broke so I fully replaced them as well as my CPU cooler fans, but ever since then at random times from 30 minutes to 3 hours my entire computer will freeze. It only started happening after I changed out my fans and the one odd thing I have been able to find is that during when I am playing my GPU is now only at 6% usage in task manager.
This doesn't happen in every game, mind you, I can play Team Fortress 2 for 8 hours and it doesn't happen, but If I jump on Apex Legends or Rainbow Six Siege with all of my settings set to the lowest possible for fps, I still freeze. Audio cuts out, monitors freeze, and I am forced to restart.
