Im having issues with my router issuing 2 IP Addresses for a smartplug which Alexa then says is unavailable.

I Cant understand it as the IP addresses end in 149 and 173.

I have tried setting a static IP and it does the same again.

Anyone have any idea?

Netgear Nighthawk X6 R8000 using DDWRT.

I have since flashed to stock firmware..............

Im having major speed issues with stock firmware, on my Intel & Realtek LAN card im lucky to achive an Internet speed of 240mb.

The firmware is upto date and all LAN drivers are to.

Anyone have any ideas?
BTW my Ethernet Cables are CAT 7.

I assume the "smart plug" can connect to both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wi-fi channels. If so, each may be getting assigned a different IP address.

Can you use your Ultra Brite Plug app to check the device's network settings?
It can only use 2.4ghz band. It warns u of this in the setup process.
