Question Why is my EVGA GTX 1660 SC ULTRA GAMING only going up to 4gb ram?

So i purchased an open box evga gtx 1660 today but i noticed something odd, on HW monitor my vram only goes up to 4000mhz. So i installed GPU-Z and it shows 6000 mhz which is odd. MSI afterburner also says 4000 mhz.

I was wondering if something is wrong with the card and if i should return it or not?

Can you check the information in Advanced Video Settings? (Type it in Cortana, then click in "Show adapter properties").

In any cases, 1660 should have 6GB.

it says that the dedicated vram is 6000 mb but even in the valley benchmark it says 4000 mhz vram

Wait, but aren't you confusing MHz with MB?
