Question Why is my FPS dropping in League of Legends ?

I am currently experiencing drops from my cap of 144fps to around 120 during fights in League of Legends, this game is known for being very easy to run and i have every setting on very low, my gpu usage wont go above 6% usually for this game even. Surely i should be able to hold a good 300fps on lowest settings let alone 144, any help?

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:

Please include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard?

In the interim period, you might want to see if using DDU and then manually reinstalling the latest GPU drivers from Nvidia's support site, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator helps you out.
