Hello guys.
So basically I built my new gaming pc a few days ago, and I built everything correctly and my pc works just fine.
The only problem is that I barely get 60 fps on games I played so far (BF1, PUBG, Overwatch).
I play on 1080p resolution.
My pc specs are:
Vega 56
Ryzen 5 2600
8 GB RAM Single Channel (i know, this was a huge mistake because of my lack of research)
256 M.2 SSD
1TB HDD
Asus b350 Plus
EVGA 650 BQ
Please if someone can help me this is my first build.
Thank you in advance.

If your FPS is between 60-75 then Freesync should keep everything smooth as most Freesync monitors range is 48-75. Just make sure Freesync is enabled in both the AMD App & monitor.
Hey,
So, are you having an issue while playing, does this make the games lag, or have screen tearing? Usually, FPS are related to the monitor and would be limited to the refresh rate of the screen.

I don't see any special issue here, I have a similar build and my screen has a limited refresh rate of 60fps and I can play perfectly. Unless, like I said, if you have issues playing. If you wanted to get a higher refresh rate, maybe look into getting a new monitor with a higher refresh rate?

And upgrade your RAM to at least 16 GB! ;P

Cheers,
J

Hey, thanks for your answer.
Ok so I have a 75hz monitor with freesync and I keep getting around 60-70 fps and it goes up and down idk why. I don't see any screen tearing. And I didn't limit my fps.

Single channel and if it's below 3000mhz is really going to affect performance, could be as much as 20 FPS.

Make sure your motherboard and GPU drivers are up to date and temps are within safe limits (under 80C for both CPU/GPU).
My ram is 3000mhz and both CPU and GPU are around 45-50 degrees Celsius while gaming on high or ultra settings at 1080p. As you said fps could be as much as 20 fps less with single channel but even then I would expect around 80 fps in most games at 1080p high or ultra settings.
Thanks for your answer.
