Question why is my fps so low?

hey guys i just built a new system and im playing black ops 2 and my fps goes between 45-55 and i just thought with my specs it would be higher:
intel i7 4770k
gtx 1050ti
psu 550 watts
2x4gb ddr3 ram
60hz LG monitor
maximus vi formula motherboard
windows 10 latest update

And you have the Nvidia drivers up to date?


Maybe run MSI Afterburner while you game so you can see your CPU and GPU usage/temps and look for anyhting odd.
