[SOLVED] Why is my friends gpu at like 1-10 percent is gta 5 and cod:MW

The Cpu is at %100 and is 60 celcius. It looks like CPU bottleneck but online everyone is getting much better performance out of this combo then he is.
Specs:
GPU- MSI GTX 1070ti
CPU- i5-7600k
RAM-16gb 2133mhz
MOBO- MSI z270 gaming pro carbon
PSU- Thermal Take smart 500W

Make sure that Windows isnt set to power saving mode. Also be sure he is on the latest driver.

CPU never goes above 70 celcius
GPU Sits around 70-80 celcius in game
We havent scanned for malware

He isnt in power saving mode. I checked that first. We just did DDU and redownloaded drivers

So checking the specs on the power supply, how exactly do you have the card powered when the PSU specs says it has one 6+2 PCIe power and the card requires an 8 and 6 pin?

Honestly looking at the PSU it is not enough for that card. You need a quality 550 watt or a decent 600-650 watt for that card.
