Question Why is my game freezing?

Whenever I play doom, my game eventually freezes. When it does, it's stuck in a state where I can't do anything but power off my PC. I'm not sure why this is happening because I'm still maintaining stable FPS, and my CPU and GPU seem to be functioning fine. I have a ryzen 3700X on an X570 motherboard. However, my friend lent me his GTX 960 (not to mention it has a blower style cooler) because I don't have enough money for a GPU right now, and I have my settings cranked to ultra. Despite the fact that it seems to be functioning fine, is it possible that I'm straining it and that's why my game is freezing? Or is there some other issue causing it? I also overclocked my CPU and RAM, but I overclocked the RAM to it's recommended clock speed and the CPU to 4.0 GHz (I've heard that it can reach 4.4). So I don't think that's the issue

Have you overclocked your GPU? if yes, please tell my how much MHz you added on memory + core
