Question Why is my GPT partitioned bootable USB Drive detected on the legacy bios but not on UEFI?

I am trying to use SanDisk8GB Cruzer Blade to boot and install Lubuntu on this notebook ACER Aspire V3-571-6654. I've setup a superuser password in the bios to disable secure boot, but when i burn it with Rufus the pendrive is only detected on Legacy, even though it is partitioned GPT for UEFI. I got it to be detected by UEFI when I burned the ISO via Universal USB Installer, but when booted it only took me to the grub> console. So, back in windows, i tried changing isolinux folder to syslinux, and all other files, but it solved nothing. I've tried older isos with different burning programs (LiLi, Yumi...) but the pendrive is mostly always detectable only in Legacy bios, I revert to UEFI the "Generic usb" name disappears from the list of bootable devices. How do I deal with this?
