[SOLVED] Why is my GPU 100% usage in CSGO?

Hello Before i begin my Specs are as follows:
CPU: Intel i7-4700
Memory: 16GB
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z87-UD4H
GPU: Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1060 WF2 6GB GDDR5

Hi There,
So recently i decided to upgrade my GPU from an EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 770 2GB to the one above and since my FPS has fallen which as you can probably tell,
was not my intention at all,

The GPU Usage is 96%+ When I am playing CSGO, yet my FPS in game fluctuates between 20-80FPS, Which given my specs is pretty annoying.
in the "Auros Engine" i have it set to "gaming mode" and can see that the GPU Clock is maxing out whenever I am Playing, even though there may be no other applications open

Does anyone know what is wrong??

Might seem silly but are you sure the monitor is plugged into the gpu and not the motherboard?

Also for cpu did you mean 4770/4790?

What resolution? Have you tried a fresh install of the gpu driver using DDU to remove the original driver?
