I just had some help figuring out why my PC wasn't running like it should be. It was a stupid mistake on my part: I didn't physically connect the HDMI with my graphics card. I shut down and plugged my HDMI into the graphics cardand booted up, however my monitor told me there was no signal via the HDMI portand the blackscreened. Im stumped. PLEASE HELP!! ALso I know the card has power because the fans are running. I dont know if there are supposed to be LEDs on it that light up though. The card is the MSI R9 290X just for reference.

you need to go into the bios and disable the onboard graphics. it is set to work off the integrated right now. when it boots up, go into the bios and enable the pci graphics. not sure what it will be called but usually it is under integrated components or something like that.

you did not need a new thread, i was going to answer the other one but noticed you started a new one. :)
