Why is my graphics card fans not increasing when I play graphic-intensive games?

I have a Nvidia MSI GTX 650 TI Boost graphics card. I play Planetside 2 often getting around 80-90 fps. My fans are always going at around 30-40% speed. I use MSI Afterburner for it and I set it to auto but when I play games it does not increase. Recently the game has been crashing when my graphics card is at about 127 degrees Fahrenheit. Wondering if this has to do with the fan speeds not increasing and it getting too hot?

127F is only 52C, so your cards not overheating. The fan stays at 40% probably because the card doesn't think its too hot. So the crashing's likely to be a software issue. However, if you want to make sure, set the fan speed manually and then try playing.

yea, measurements used for graphics cards are in Celsius, the graphics card is far from thermal limits.

Has there been any overclocking done to the cpu?

What memory do you have?

List your system specs so people trying to help know what they're dealing with.

For now you can try in MSI afterburner click settings and chose from user to kernel mode under compatibility properties and maybe try 'force constant voltage' also

The game is Planetside 2. I have intel i5 3570k, 16 GB Corsair Ram, Windows 7, msi z77a motherboard and of course GTX 650 TI boost.
