why is my gta 5 taking 14 hours to download on pc?

my gta 5 pc is taking 14 hours and when i downloaded it on my laptop it took 14 hour then it didnt even work now im just waiting to see if i will work on my gaming pc did it take that long for anyone else???

It's 60gb, and depends on internet connection as to how quickly it downloads.

where from? how fast is your connection?

The game is a massive 60GB + patches and the download isn't compressed, it's going to take a while unless you have a really fast internet connection. You might have been better off just moving the GTA V files from your laptop to your PC over your home network.

did you check to see if GTA 5 would run on your PC before your started downloading the files again. that's usually a good thing to do before you start wasting another 14+ hours on something that gave you the same result your laptop did
