Hello Tom's Hardware community!

So i have a gaming PC which has been acting up for quite some time now, i tried to re-install my windows and the drivers for my graphics card but nothing worked. So I've got this problem that most of my games just crash all the time and the screen just freeze after about 10 minutes of me launching the application. ( the time always differs)

So therefore i stop the applications through my task manager and i get the next error message telling me why the game crashed.:

''Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware.''

I always get a similar message after the crash happens with different games... i have a high quality computer so stuff like this should not happen.

My specs: ( i run a dual monitor set-up)

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Extreme gaming

Intel core I5-6600 3.30GHz

16gb RAM

I've been doing some texting and a realised that only the newer games crash, like Overwatch, Apex Legends etc... I'm pretty sure it has something to do with my graphics card so, but im pretty confused because when a game does not crash, im able to play the game with more than 60+ fps having the game on the highest settings possible, running the games as smooth as possible, until the screen freezes and the application dies all of a sudden.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!
Thanks for your time

What's the make and model of your power supply unit ? Which PSU are you using ? Any overheating issues on your system as well ?

And yes i've been trying to monitor my GPU and the temperature seem fine, although...i tried to feel the top of my GPU after 2 hours of me being in CS:GO and the entirety of the top bit was very hot for some reason... hmm... all 3 of the fans were on during the game was...
