Hi guys,
I am baffled. I am paying for 300Mbps and certainly achieve those on my wireless devices.
The issue is with the hardwired connection. I was getting approx. 100 Mbps, I then replaced the Cat5 cable going from my room outlet to the computer and I was getting over 300 Mbps as well.
For some reason, I tested it again today and I am back to 100 Mbps. I am not sure if I changed anything on the computer system, I don't think but this is aggravating. Any ideas?
Thank you....Ray

Solution
Issue isolated to cable running from the room to the basement. Now getting it replaced will be difficult so will use wifi for now until we do a reno on the house.
Thank you for all your assistance.

UPDATE - My wireless speed on the desktop is only approx. at 100 Mpbs, YET my iphone on the same network is over 300 Mbps.
Must have been something I changed or got changed recently. HELP...
Thank you.....Ray
