Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this. I hope to be brief and to the point.

I have an Acer an515-53(or 54, I think)

CPU = i5-8300H
GPU = GTX 1050 Ti

Other specs irrelevant because none come close to approaching max utilization for my issue.

For my work I have to open and monitor up to 7 simultaneous Google Meet sessions. After a short while my CPU utilization is at 100% and the temperature comes to 204degF/95degC and forces frequent network disconnects of my sessions. All other system rss aren't near max, including RAM. I ensure all progs are running off the GTX 1050 Ti and not the intel uhd.

I've resorted to manually setting my CPU fans to maximum which barely keeps the temp around 190degF but mostly prevents the disconnects.

Is it unreasonable to expect this processor to handle this load? I don't have other programs running at the same time, just multiple Google chrome windows. The Intel driver update utility is always on and says that I have all of the latest updates for my components. Is there anything I'm not doing that I should try?

Or am I going to have to purchase a new laptop?

Thank you
