Well i have a Pentium 4 laptop w/ Intel Pentium B950 @2.10Ghz and it runs like a dream for my usage (TF2, EVE online , destiny 2) someone please explain how my pc is soo fast. I don't have a SDD or even a Hybrid disk
Specs:
CPU: Intel B950 @2.10GHz
RAM:6Gb DDR3 1067MHZ
DISK: St9500325AS 500Gb
Ready boost enabled

Solution
The response time is amazing with this PC Possibly because I do a-lot of repairs every day( defragging, commands) and as long as it get the daily repair It run very well

Nobody's questioning your real, if puzzling, happiness with your laptop. Only that it's wrong to call it a Pentium 4; it's not a Pentium 4. My 2018 Subaru is the same length as my first car was, a 1988 Ford Tempo. It doesn't make my Subaru a Ford Tempo. And thank goodness for that.

Someone could find this thread and get incorrect information, this is a hobby/field that requires precision in the language used and description of items. One misplaced word or even number/letter could end up with someone frying their motherboard or bricking their BIOS.

Unless you...

That's not a Pentium 4. The B950 is a Sandy Bridge Pentium from 2011.

Not surprised you can get TF2 and EVE Online to run fine, they're both extremely old games with minimum requirements. Destiny 2 running like a dream? I'd honestly need to see the receipts for that one.

Pentium B950 has nothing to do with Pentium 4.
Pentium B950 is from Intel core Sandy Bridge family of cpus - like Intel core 2xxxM models.

B950 isn't a Pentium 4. Coincidentally having similar cache sizes doesn't place a CPU in a different generation.

It's not.

Unless you have actual data that could help someone choose to buy this laptop cheaply should they come across it for $50 at Goodwill or something, such as FPS data at specific settings or benchmark information before and after your "repairs," I think this thread has run its course.
