Question Why is my internet much slower than advertised and on a new computer?

I recently used a Mac and the internet on it seemed to work completely fine; downloading and streaming content etc. The only problem was FPS. So I bought a new gaming tower PC and suddenly I notice that FPS increases drastically but then my internet speeds have just vanished. However, it's only for this PC? I get 15ms ping but then about 3 megabits per second download speed and about 5 megabits per second upload speed. Weirdly, on the gateway site of my router, it says that the upload speed is 20 megabits per second and 70 megabits per second download speed. Not up to, just simply says that it is. Again, this is only on this new computer but not for my phone, xbox, etc. What is happening and how can I resolve it?

What motherboard does your new PC have?
Is this a wired or wireless connection?
If wired, have you tried a different cable? Is there any in-wall cabling involved?
