Hello,

I have a 300 N router.
I am using wired connection

My motherboard is Asus p8p67. (i5, 8gb ram, win10 64 bits, ssd)
My internet is 300 mpbs (37.5 mb/s)

I am getting max 7mb/s (around 55mbps)
Why am I not getting the max speed?

I just reinstalled windows.
Does my motherboard or router limit the speed?

1| Mind sharing the make and model of your Router? Most often then not, it's advertising printed on the box but there are instances where a particular environment is necessary to achieve the maximum advertised speed.

2| Have you made sure your networking drivers are all up to date inclusive of your motherboard BIOS?

1) My router is cisco e900
2) yes everything is up to date.

Seems to be some problem with the drivers.
My motherboard is P8P67 PRO (REV 3.1)

The manual says : LAN Intel® 82579, 1 x Gigabit LAN Controller(s)
So it must have gigabit lan.

When I try to install a Intel® 82579 driver the system tells me there is no intel lan controller. Weird.
In network options I see the max speed is only 100mbps.

I installed the asus lan driver but nothing changed.
