Why is my internet speed only slow on my brand new pc?

I just got a brand new pc and for the first 10 minutes I was getting my full 100mbps and after 10 minutes, I can barely get 8mbps. Please help. I have tried many things and can't solve the issue. Ever since the beginning I can't get back to my 100mbps.

Try using an ethernet cable or powerline adapters. Wireless connections can be very unreliable.
How far are you from the router?
