[SOLVED] Why is my internet suddenly so slow?

So I just finished installing my new motherboard (ASUS Maximus IX Code) and when I jumped into discord everybody told me I was cutting out to the point where I couldn't be understood. Once I opened my door they said it was significantly better but still garbage. What can I do to get this fixed? I never had issues before now.

why did you change the motherboard?
full system spec? include make and model of the psu

Wifi

The old one was from an Alienware prebuilt and once I changed cases (about 6 months ago) I realized I couldn't connect my front I/O to the mobo so I had to start it with a screwdriver on the jumpers. Also the PSU wouldn't reach around due to the new case size so I just installed a new mobo and psu today.

did you install the antenna correctly?

I screwed it into the two holes in the back and slapped it on top of my case.

Did you clean install the OS, or just take your old drive and plug it in? Old drivers / network settings still present?

I took my old SSD and HDD and plugged them in.
I never changed anything

reinstall the os.
or at least go update motherboard driver/bios
