Question Why is my laptop freezing and not responding?

I have a asus tuf fx505dy laptop. When I turn it on, it works for some time but then it just freezes and I have to turn it off, because it isn't responding. I have had this problem in the past. I updated my amd drivers today, but it didn't fix it. Could you tell me why this keeps happening?
