Take a closer look at your process.
Noted the following from within the second link:
"YouTube transcodes all of your uploads, so if you upload 4K (2160p), it also creates 1440p, 1080p, 720p, 480p, 360p, and 240p versions (they never upscale, just make lower resolution versions). If you upload at 60fps, it preserves the frame rate, but it doesn’t not give 60fps video double the frame rate, but rather uses 1.5x frame rate. The practical upshot is that the frame rate is higher, quality of each frame tends to be a little worse — albeit you are less likely to notice, given they higher frame rate. "
