Why is my motherboard logo flashes?

I have the ASUS Maximus VI Formula and the PC is not even open.

On the middle of the Motherboard the ''ROG'' logo and the Replublic of gaming letters flash
the red led inscripton of '' Replublic of gaming '' flash on and off even if the PC is shutdown.

Is it clearer?

Those motherboard lights are constantly powered by default, unless you switch the PSU switch off (or unplug it from the wall). If you want to change this, see:

LOL. Good lord, how much extra do they charge you for that extra blink? I guess this is for folks who are building see-thru boxes, UV cables blah-blah.

OP, a PC is NEVER completely off, there is some standby power applied, so that's no magic. Your USB ports are probably powered too allowing you to charge your smartphone even when the box is off.

No, the logo is not a warning light, just bling. There is another troubleshooting LED on the motherboard for diagnostics, which you can find in your manual.

The manual says it is an update for the Bios. Push the power button 3 seconds..
