[SOLVED] Why is my new CPU underperforming?

I recently got a i5 10400F and did a quick benchmark, according to userbenchmark.com my cpu was only at the 4th percentile. Does anyone know why and can help?

don't look at the percentile. compare the % of the same cpu

oh, my percent is 73 and the website says 90 is good so idk whats happening it might have something to do with the fact that my cpu cooler is absolute garbage but idk much about this stuff

Edit: I just realised the results say i have 3 cores and 6 threads even i though i should have 6c and 12t

You on latest BIOS? What cooler do you have installed? Also, a single stick of RAM isn't helping anything!!

dell g5 5000? look like it not using turbo boost. check the cpu temp? what the psu ?
it show as 3 cores/6 threads. did you make any change in bios or setup?
