Question Why is my new GPU performing badly?

Recently I bought a new PNY GTX 660 TI 2GB to replace my old Gt 1030, and I was expecting higher performance. I got the card & installed it, however it isn't performing as well as I expected it to. It is actually performing worse than the GT 1030, and I've heard that the 660 is way better than the 1030 in terms of overall performance. The 660 gets really hot & has coil whine as well...

What temperature does it reach while gaming? Overheating will cause the card to throttle.

From a quick comparison the 660 is barely any faster than the 1030 and is no longer supported with driver updates. I expect it also doesn’t support all the features a 1030 would.

If that's any indication, the GTX 660 Ti isn't that much better than the GT 1030.

As for the heat and coil whine, it is a more power hungry card than the GT 1030.

47 with no games running, 57 + with ROBLOX running. Getting like 30 FPS On max graphics while playing ROBLOX....
