[SOLVED] What’s wrong with my PC ?

Hello everyone, I just built my first PC after years of wanting one but unfortunately it hasn’t been too fun so far. When I try to power on the pc absolutely nothing happens. I’ve already tried reconnecting and switching power cables, I’ve removed all non-necessary components and tried to power it on, and I’ve reset my cmos. I did the paper clip test on the 24 pin connector and was able to get the fan spinning on the psu.

Can anyone please offer any advice on how I can go about fixing this problem. I may also add to mention this is the second PSU I’ve used. The first time I had a PSU connected it popped and broke the PSU, resulting in me having to buy a new one leading up to now.

Here’s the parts list in case you guys need that. Also the RAM is from an old prebuilt, it’s 32GB and 3200MHz.

This could have caused damage to system.

Was old PSU modular?
Did you change all modular PSU cables to new cables?
Modular cables are not compatible between different PSU models.
Using wrong cables can kill/damage hardware connected.

Remove motherboard from pc case.
Have only cpu, cpu cooler and ram installed. May also connect power on switch.
Install graphics card also (since your cpu lacks integrated graphics). Connect monitor to it.
Plug in PSU cables into motherboard (24pin connector and 4+4pin PSU power connector).
Do not connect anything else (like front panel connections, usb devices, storage devices, rgb).

Try to start your pc.

I appreciate the advice but I was able to get everything working. I guess it had something to do with the cpu cooler because when I took it off and re-applied thermal paste, then re-installed it, the PC powered right on.
