Question Why Is my optical switch keyboard categorized as a mechanical keyboard ?

I got an Asus TUF Gaming K3 gen 2 Keyboard which is optical switch not mechanical, but on the box it says optical mechanical switch. As far as I know optical switch and mechanical switch are different.
I just want a mechanical keyboard, not optical.
Is optical switch really categorized as mechanical switch ?

The keyswitch used in the keyboard you're looking at is an optical switch with a mechanical spring/leaf to give you the sense of a mechanical switch as it actuates.
i just want a mechanical keyboard not optical
Where are you located, what is your budget and what is your preferred site for purchase? Why not look at Royal Kludge's/Ajazz's portfolio?
