For around a month now, programs on my PC have been crashing. These programs can be from explorer.exe itself, to steam, to steam games, teamspeak etc. It happens so often and i cannot pinpoint the cause of it. (Sometimes they crash, sometimes they stop responding then respond after a minute or so).
It all started when i installed Windows 10. it began to crash all the time. and after i reverted back to W7, it carried on.
Things i have tried:
- Virus scan (multiple times)
- Resetting my overclock to factory clock speeds and voltages
- Running affected programs in compatibility mode and administrator mode
My computer specs are as followed:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 6-Core Processor
GPU: AMD Sapphire R9 270X (OC Edition)
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance (2x4GB) at 1600MHz
PSU: Corsair CX600M Modular
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0
HDD: Western Digital 500GB 7200RPM
HDD2: Western Digital 1TB 7200RPM
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 120GB (Where OS is installed)
I am struggling to find what the problem is and would like some help.
Thanks
