Why is my PC fan like this?

I have 2 PC fans both of them look like they are missing something will my PC fans work like this? They only have blacks and green cables

Will they work or do I have to return them with the case?

They will work, but constantly at full speed being molex type. so they are likely to be quite noisy.

it must be end of the run, you can't continue thru to more molex stuff.

no, full speed is like 1400 rpm, not too bad sounding.
