[SOLVED] Why is my PC wireless slower than my Macbook pro 2017?

The Macbookpro is a 13 inch 2017 with 2.3 ghz dual core intel core i5
I have an Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 on my PC. It has good capacity, it is a new PC.
My macbook (and my phone) get about 100 mbps, my PC 45. We are connecting through a Ubiquiti extender that says it has perfect connection.

First: manually download, reinstall, and reconfigure the drivers for the AC 8260.

Second: test the AC 8260 somewhere closer to the router and away from the extender.
