Question Why is my performance low? RTX 2080TI

Hello guys I hope you are all having an excellent day. So I’ve recently upgraded my graphics card from a 1080TI to a 2080TI, now before I upgraded when I played PUBG I used to get min 100 frames and max about 180ish now with my new GPU I’m getting min 40 frames and max 140ish. I really don’t understand what’s going on.

Build:
I7 8700k
Gigabyte 2080TI OC
1200W Corsair Platinum PSU

Do you have latest drivers installed? Equally have you tried a clean install of GPU drivers?
Do you have latest BIOS installed?
Have you monitored temperatures under load? (GPU & Individual CPU cores)
Is the issue the same on all games?

latest drivers installed and also did clean install of gpu driver. Latest bios installed too. My gpu temp idle is 32 degrees c and during load 67 degrees c. I havent really monitored the fps on other games when i had my 1080ti as i mainly just played PUBG.

What monitor are you using and what resolution are you running?

I have a BenQ XL2420G, i run at 1080p 144hz
