Why is my Powerline kit slower than my Wifi?

Hello, I recently ordered a TP-Link Powerline kit and I have it all setup and I haven't pressed the clone feature on the Powerline adapters. I later did a test to see if they were working fine and did a Wifi test (just on my Router not the powerline) first and got 20mbps and then later did a test with the powerline with ethernet plugged in my computer and only got a 14-15mbps. I tried it again to make sure something didn't go wrong and they were again pretty much the same results.
Thanks,

but should a bit faster, at least 100mbit i think

do you connect them directly to the wall or a extension first?

in that same section of your house do you have any machine that uses lots of watts to work or has a electric motor in it, those can create interference

I connected them directly into a wall socket and yes, we have about three organs in the house that is connected by a big leslie organ speaker. So this may be the problem?

I have the AV600 Powerline Wifi Kit.

the organs doesn't have big electric motors like a enormus compressor or a similar, washing machines are know to gie problems with noise on some houses, you can see the washing machine is on on some tvs! same for the blender

i don't think that is the problem, sounds like problems with the wiring itself, can you do a test on another part of the house, using a different ciruit, just to test transfer speeds between two machines
