Why Is My Public IP is Still "Pingable"

So I installed a Sonicwall firewall on my home network and have it configured to ignore all WAN pings and requests. I went to a public coffee place and tested it out by pinging my public IP assigned to me by the ISP and it responded perfectly.

I am confused because this was a very simple flick-of-a-switch rule add-on the firewall..why is it responding to outside pings?

Oh..yes, the firewall is after the bridged cable modem and router...so here is the sequence I have set up in order:

1. Cable modem which is in bridge mode.
2. Netgear ProSafe SRX-5308 router.
3. Subnet 1 off Netgear router goes to the Sonic wall..then to one host.
4. Subnet 2 isn for a wireless network.
5 Subnet 3 is for my phone.

So this is the reason?

WAN Ping response has been disabled, I tested it on a wifi network at a cigar shop. Looks like it was the fist router WAN (respond to ping) setting that I forgot about, seeing as the sonicwall is behind it. Plus, the logs show the WAN drops as well now. Thanks.
