Question Why is my RAM not working?

I usually have 8gb (2x 4gb) of RAM in my PC, but about a week or 2 ago, my PC started doing the beep code for an issue with my RAM (1 long, 3 short). I hadn't messed with my RAM before that. Any help would be appreciated

Have you tried running MemTest?

How do you do that? I'm a little bit of a dumdum when it comes to computer things
