Why is my resolution stuck at 640 x 480

Here are my computer specs. I am aware of the issues you may see with this build. It is a very old computer.

We are just trying to figure out the screen resolution and why it's stuck at 640 x 480.

Because you're running it on an 865 chipset; there is no Windows 7 driver for the 865 graphics. You'll need to find either an AGP or PCI graphics card that is supported by Win7.

That system is too old: it doesn't support Windows 7. Your only option to get it to work is a video card, which is probably an AGP card (ebay, since it's obsolete). Also, if you want to continue this experiment you absolutely need to upgrade the RAM
