I wanted to add that GDDR5X and GDDR6/X actually has quad data rate and apparently octal data rate modes, despite using the DDR moniker. So the clock speeds may be reported to be even slower.
Correct. As long as the clock speed is going up significantly higher under load than idle, it's fine.so there isn't anything i should be worried about
