Why is my scores so low???

My system specs :

P III 800 Mhz (133x6) overclocked to 888 Mhz (148x6)
ASUS CUV4X
3d Blaster GeForce 2 MX 32 MB DDR RAM overclocked (increased core speed by 10 Mhz, and RAM speed up to 320 MHz)
Latest drivers (video card, dx, mobo, etc)

3d mark 2000 - 4560

Is the score too low for my system? Without any overclocking it's only around 4000.

Your being extremely limmited by the MX card. A GTS would give you about 3000 (!) more marks!

Well I get 5600 on 3dmark2k on my asus gf2mx 32 ram @ 200 core/185 ram

Doh, I just noticed that he has the creative mx card, it uses 64 bit DDR ram, could be the issue...

I totally agree, it is the performance of the GF2MX that is limitin' your scores....even after overclocking the core and memory settings. Other than that, YOUR SYSTEM ROCKS! ha...

HighCV2, Have you tried clocking your the GPU down and the memory up a little? You get the most gains from speeding up memory not the GPU. Using a lower GPU speed keeps it from radiating extra heat which can hold back overclocking of memory. Give it a try.

You can read the information on each of the DRAM chips on your video card. Usually you'll find a line that ends with a two digit number like "55" or "60" or sometimes like "-50". Sometimes it only one digit like "6". Anyway the number usually means the refresh rate in nanoseconds, ns. On newer video boards and newer SDRAM "55" would mean 5.5ns. "60" or "6" would mean 6ns.

The refresh rate is a frequency. These correspond to a clock rate.

4ns equates to 250mhz
4.5ns to 222mhz
5ns to 200mhz
5.5ns to 182mhz (sometimes rounded to 183mhz. Don't know why)
6ns to 167mhz

These the maximum clock rates if the memory chip are run within specifcation. Some memory will run faster than their rated speeds, overclocked.
